The required documents may vary per landlord, but we recommend having the following documents ready:

For employees:

• Copy of ID or passport
• Recently signed employer’s declaration (and employment contract if applicable)
• The three most recent pay slips
• The three most recent bank statements showing the salary, in accordance with the pay slip
• Extract from the Municipal Personal Records Database (GBA)

If you already live in a rental property:

• Recently signed landlord’s declaration
• Bank statements showing visible debits of the last three months’ rent

For self-employed persons:

• Copy of ID or passport
• Recent extract from the Chamber of Commerce (KvK)
• Profit and loss account for the last three years
• IB60 form for the last three years
• Extract from the Municipal Personal Records Database (GBA)

If you already live in a rental property:

• Recently signed landlord’s declaration
• Bank statements showing visible debits of the last three months’ rent
